The CBD-380 bottom drain is mounted in the bottom of the pond and is designed to collect water from the lower layers of the pond for filtration, to empty the reservoir, improve water exchange, reducing the static area of water. Helps reduce the proliferation of water bacteria and siltation of the pond. Increases the efficiency of the filter system.
It is recommended to collect 70-75% of the total circulation water flow through the bottom drain, and 25-30% of the total volume through the skimmers.
The bottom fence with a built-in aeration disk, model CBD -380 SunSun Grech, when connected to an air compressor (purchased separately, of the required capacity), allows you to actively saturate the lower layers of the pond with vital oxygen and promotes active mixing of all water layers.
