New generation pond filter for ponds up to 8,000L
The CBF-200 Pond Filter CBF-200 is a new generation of pond filters, ideally suited to ponds, garden ponds and swimming pools.
The advantage of this filter over other filter systems is the high water flow rate, as well as the large filtering capacity. The optimised filter surface guarantees mechanical and biological treatment.
The biofilter works on the principle of gravity filtration. It uses the potential energy of the water inside – the water is purified by flowing through the filter.
It is safe and robust – the cover of the tank is made of durable plastic. The lid is integrated with a contamination indicator that indicates when it is time to clean the filter. A thermometer built into the cover shows the current temperature of the pond water.
The filter is supplied with all the necessary cartridges to ensure mechanical-biological filtration and to maintain the biological balance in your tank.
CBF series filters guarantee clean and healthy water.
Overflow filters additionally need a circulation or fountain pump to work. The pump should be of sufficient power for the water flow to be optimal for 3-stage filtration.
FILTER MEDIA:
– bio-sponges with varying degrees of porosity provide effective biological and mechanical filtration through optimal settling capabilities for nitrifying bacteria and retention of possible contaminants.
– bio-spheres – these are biological cartridges with a very large active (filtering) surface area. The porous material and bio-balls are an excellent substrate for beneficial nitrifying bacteria, cleansing the water of toxic nitrogen compounds. Biological filtration is the heart of the entire filtration system. The decomposition of all biological pollutants takes place there, including the decomposition of food residues, dead plant remains.
– Japanese mat is an excellent material for mechanical filtration, capturing fine impurities such as silt, suspended solids and a very good material for biological filtration.
