A Skimmer provides for clean and pure water with a high visibility depth. Therefore, it should be found in every garden pond. The water surface is constantly cleaned and freed from impurities such as leaves, grasses, pollen, insects, etc., before these sink to the bottom of the pond.
By use of a pump (not included in the supply), a thin film of water is absorbed, thus causing a flow towards the skimmer. With a pond surface of up to 40 m², the skimmer keeps the surface completely clean. The flow rate is 8000–16000 l/h. However, any coarse particles such as leaves or grasses have to be removed regularly in order to maintain the efficiency of the skimmer.
The stand of the surface cleaner for ponds is set on the bottom of the pond with stones. A cardan joint enables the adjustment of the suction device also in conditions of a slightly uneven ground.
Another outstanding advantage of this model is the adjustable height of the collecting basket. The extendable tube can be set according to various pond depths.
